Kentucky law permits delivery of a proper written request by hand, mail, fax, or email. The agency generally must respond in writing within five business days. County and state classification must remain clear. A local bond-out may appear only in Allen County's jail and court records. VINE receives booking-system updates, so lag and record closure can affect a result. A notice is a prompt to verify with the jail or DOC. It does not replace the release entry, establish the destination, or preserve a permanent archive of all events during the three-day window.
